Adria Ferries: Useful pre-departure information

Choose Adria Ferries for your trip to or from Albania. To avoid any inconvenience we ask you to follow these simple rules. Keep away from delays and problems.

Check your ticket

Check the date, time and ship on your ticket. Tickets are only valid for a specific trip. Changing names or dates on the day of departure incurs penalties of up to 100 percent of the cost.

Check-in

Check in to obtain your boarding pass. Go to the maritime station and complete check-in no later than one hour before departure. Use the card to get through security and border control.

Travel documents.

Always carry a valid document to travel. Every passenger, including infants, animals and freight, must have an appropriate document. Pregnant women after 24 weeks cannot board. If the pregnancy is less than 24 weeks, bring a medical certificate issued within 72 hours prior to departure.

Embarkation

Arrive at the port at least 3 hours before departure. After checking in, show your documents and boarding pass at security checkpoints. Follow the directions of the staff who will guide you to the reception or your accommodation. Notify the carrier at the time of booking or purchase of any special needs, especially if you have a disability or reduced mobility.

Use the spaces reserved for dogs and cats on board free of charge. On the ship AF Claudia, you will find these spaces on Deck 7; on AF Marina, on Deck 9; and on AF Francesca, on Deck 8.

EU Regulation 1177/2010

Read EU Regulation 1177/2010 to learn about your rights. The carrier will inform you of any delays or cancellations within 30 minutes of the scheduled time. If the delay exceeds 90 minutes or the service is cancelled, the carrier will offer snacks, meals or drinks. You can choose alternative transportation on similar terms or get a full refund and, if necessary, a return to the point of departure. Request financial compensation if you are delayed on arrival.
